The 1st and 2nd strings are plain steel. The 3rd and 4th strings are nickel or phosphor bronze round wound with plain steel octaves, loop-ends or ball-ends. Phosphor bronze wound produce a bright tone, nickel wound strings produce a more mellow tone. Please indicate if you would prefer nickel or phosphor wound, loop-ends or ball-ends.
