At madycenter, we understand that once you find a great book, you want to start reading it as soon as possible. Our team works diligently to pack your order with care and get it moving toward your bookshelf.

Here is a clear breakdown of our shipping process.

1. Where We Ship

We currently ship exclusively to street addresses within the Contiguous United States (the lower 48 states).

To ensure your books arrive safely and on time via FedEx, we are unable to ship to:

• Alaska and Hawaii.

• P.O. Boxes.

• APO/FPO/DPO military addresses.

• International destinations.

Please make sure to use a standard physical home or office address at checkout.

2. Order Processing & Delivery Times

We value transparency, so here is exactly how long it takes from the moment you click “Buy” to when the package arrives at your door.

Processing Time (Getting Your Order Ready) Before your books leave our facility, we need time to verify, pick, and pack them securely.

• Handling Time: 2 – 4 business days (Monday through Friday).

• Order Cut-Off: 04:00 PM Pacific Time (PT).

• How it works: If you place an order before 4:00 PM PT on a weekday, we begin the process that same day. Orders placed after 4:00 PM PT or on weekends will enter our queue the next business day.

Transit Time (On The Road) Once handed over to the carrier, your package is on its way.

• Estimated Transit Time: 6 – 8 business days (Monday through Friday).

Total Delivery Estimate: You can generally expect your order to arrive within 8 to 12 business days.

3. Shipping Rates & Carrier

We use FedEx for all our shipments to ensure reliable tracking and delivery. We have kept our pricing structure simple and straightforward:

For any order totaling $199.00 or more, shipping is completely FREE. For orders under $199.00, we charge a single flat rate of $7.99.

We do not charge any hidden handling fees. The total cost you see at checkout is final.

4. Sales Tax Information

We comply with all state and local tax laws. Taxes are calculated automatically at checkout based on your specific shipping address. You won’t have to guess; the exact tax amount will be clearly displayed in your order summary before you complete the purchase.

5. Tracking Your Order

As soon as FedEx scans your package, we will send you an email notification containing your Tracking Number. Please allow about 24 hours for the carrier’s system to update the status. You can use this link to follow your books every step of the way.

6. Order Accuracy & Changes

Because we try to process orders promptly within our 2-4 day window, we have a very short time frame to make changes.

• Incorrect Address: If you realize you made a typo in your address, please email us at [email protected] immediately.

• Disclaimer: We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an address error, we may refund the item cost minus the shipping fees.

7. Unexpected Delays

While we strive to meet our 6-8 day transit window, external factors like severe weather or FedEx operational delays can sometimes happen. We appreciate your patience in these rare instances.

8. Damaged or Lost Items

We pack our books to withstand the journey, but accidents can happen.

• Damaged: If a book arrives damaged, please email us a photo within 48 hours.

• Lost: If tracking says “Delivered” but it’s missing, please let us know.

Resolution Promise: We commit to investigating and resolving any delivery issue (via refund or replacement) within 5 – 7 business days of receiving your report.
